Little Red Riding Hood, Logan UT (June 2, 2012)

Little Red Riding Hood is an all women’s bike ride.  We have heard great things about this ride and it was on our ride wish list for the year!  It is held in Logan so Annette joined us!  Little Red is very popular and hard to get into.  Because of this, we joined Bonneville Cycling Club so we could get priority registration.  We were lucky we did!  It filled up in less than 24 hours.

We stayed with the Watson’s to be closer to the ride start and have a fun night with our friends!
The morning of the ride started out rainy and stayed that way for about an hour.  It warmed up pretty quickly after that and we shed our outer layers.  We had a beautiful ride together!

We planned on riding 80 – unless we were feeling really strong when the routes split.  When we finally had to make the call, we opted for the shorter distance.  And to our surprise, we were approaching the finish line at about 65 miles!!  If we had known the routes were short, we would have gone for the longer distance!   We crossed the finish line together and enjoyed the festivities at the fair grounds.  We were given a completion bracelet and then headed for the ice cream line.
